Unite Aware Maps Beginner Version 2.0 - Uniformed Personnel

The Unite Aware Maps Beginner Version 2.0 Course is the first course of the UA Visualization Track. It introduces the Unite Aware Maps application, including key Maps functions and features.
At the end of the course, staff will take the certification exam.

Abstract

The Unite Aware Visualization (Maps) Beginner Course introduces the Unite Aware Maps application and explains how to use UA Maps to visualize and interpret operational data layers. The key concepts explained include data layers, table of contents, reading and modifying map content, using bookmarks and searching and filtering information.



Target audience: Mission staff working in operations centers at the battalion, sector or mission HQ level, as well as civilian staff who have requirements for geospatial information. Also appropriate for Senior Managers and other senior decision-makers within a Field Mission.
